sys.sp_addextendedproperty @name=N'MS_DiagramPane1' Discussion in 'General' started by Peter Schmitz, Oct 1, 2012. Peter Schmitz Administrator Staff Member. While trying to port a client's database objects from an incomplete test environment to a new copy of their production system, we came across a few views that had some odd looking code in it:
The Diagram pane presents a graphic display of the tables or table valued objects you have selected from the data connection. It also shows any join relationships among them. In the Diagram pane you can: Add or remove tables and table valued objects and specify data columns for output.
Where do these darn MS_DiagramPane extended properties come from? – Learn more on the SQLServerCentral forums
The extended properties for a database object can include a lot of noise such as the MS_DiagramPane1 extended property. On a future release can you include an option to turn off selected extended properties from appearing in the documentation in the SQL code and the Extended Properties section of the documentation.
